Course Registration

You must be accepted as a MAgr student prior to course registration (refer to Apply to Texas A&M). You will be notified by mail of your acceptance to the university. Your acceptance letter from TAMU will include registration dates and a health form that every TAMU student must complete and return. Important dates for each semester are also published in the Academic Calendar. After working with your advisor to identify appropriate and available distance education courses you will refer to the Schedule of Courses * (request a printed copy from the Prospective Student Center via E-mail, idc@tamu.edu, or phone (979) 458-0427) for course details, registration dates, times and payment schedules.

TAMU currently offers Internet Course Enrollment. Graduate students, including those with a G6 classification, usually register at the same time as Seniors. Registration help is available Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (CST). Call the Registrar's Office if you have questions before registration at (979) 845-7117. Please note that it is important to call or E-mail the Student Accounts and Billing Services Office at (979) 845-8127, sfs@vpfn.tamu.edu, prior to the first day of classes if you decide NOT to attend. If you do not notify them, you will be held responsible for any financial aid and you may receive grades of "F" or "Incomplete." You may also be barred from future enrollment and from receiving official transcripts.

* Not all TAMU distance courses are appropriate or available to MAgr students. Contact your advisor before selecting courses.
