Get to Know the Aggie Family!

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (COALS) at TAMU has designed the Master of Agriculture (MAgr) curriculum to prepare individuals for leadership roles in education, natural resource management, the Extension service, and many professional careers in agriculture and life sciences. This is a non-thesis degree program which emphasizes the development of problem-solving skills and the practical aspects of academic coursework.

Because of the diverse nature of the careers selected by MAgr graduates, degree plans will vary considerably and are generally unique for each individual. A professional paper and internship with a professional in the selected area of emphasis will be part of your Texas A&M University MAgr degree at a distance. All courses in the MAgr distance program are equivalent to on-campus courses and are taught by the same faculty members.

Texas A&M University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, which approves all degree programs offered by the university.
